As many of you may already know, PBG is one of the few brokers who administers and understands the value of direct reimbursement dental plans. Our product, Freedom Dental Plans, is currently administered by GISC. You will now be given the option of having PBG administer your Freedom Dental plans in-house effective your next plan renewal. In addition, PBG has signed an agreement to run our Freedom Dental plan with the support and endorsement of Guardian's Nationwide PPO Network. With Guardian's superior discounts, the result will be that PBG will be able to run your Freedom Dental Plans for less.
In addition, PBG has also acquired CHS claims software in order to take PBG into the next generation of benefit plan management. One of the significant functions of this system is to enhance financial reporting and other critical ad-hoc reports for the employer in the accounting/finance and human resources departments. PBG will be asking employers to give their feedback on how to best enhance the financial reporting for their individual needs. This applies to all self funded dental and medical deductible reimbursement plans administered by PBG.
